We believe that the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired Word of God, (without error) the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life. (II Tim. 3:16-17, Heb. 4:12)
We believe that there is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Gen. 1:1, II Cor. 13:14, Matt. 28:19)
We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, and died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Further, Jesus Christ arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Majesty on High as our High Priest and Advocate. (Luke 1:28-35, Col. 1:13-20, 1 Cor. 15:1-4)
We believe that man was created in the image of God but fell into sin. By nature and choice we all have fallen short of His standard of perfection. Therefore, we are all in need of salvation.(Gen. 1:26, Gen. 3:6, Rom. 3:23, Rom. 5:12)
We believe that the Grace given by the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection from the dead provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who receive Christ in faith.(Eph.2:8-9) We are therefore saved by Grace through Faith in Christ alone. (Titus 3:3-7) We believe that the Biblical teaching is an immediate response to that faith of Repentance and Biblical Baptism by Immersion. (Acts 2:38) This will result in a life lived in total submission to the Lordship of Jesus Christ (Luke 9:23) and by keeping in step with the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit that they received at Salvation. (Gal. 5:25, Rom. 6:1-14, Rom. 10:9-13, Acts 2:21)
We believe that during the present age, the Holy Spirit glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ by convicting the world of sin, regenerating sinners, and indwelling, guiding, instructing, and empowering believers for godly living and service. (Gal. 5:23-25, John 14:16-17,26, I Cor. 12:13)
We believe that at the end the Lord Jesus will come again and there will be a bodily resurrection of the dead. Believers will spend eternity with Christ, while unbelievers will face judgment and eternal separation from God. (I Thess. 4:13-18)
